Mission Statement

We will drive growth in the sport of tactical precision rifle shooting by providing a positive, safe, and challenging learning environment for both the new and seasoned shooter. Encouraging new shooters to participate in the action sport of Long Range Precision Rifle Shooting by demystifying the sport, and providing open and honest information while also supporting our more experienced shooters by providing regular matches to help hone their skills and challenge their limits.

About Us

Long Range Precision Rifle Shooters was established in 2008 by a group of like minded individuals that wanted to establish a place in the Phoenix Metro Area to begin practicing the sport of practical precision long range rifle shooting. This group found a home at Phoenix Rod and Gun Club. At the Phoenix Rod and Gun Club we hold weekly practice sessions on Thursday mornings from 7:00am to 10:00am, at the high power range. We have monthly matches, open to all levels of competitors, taking place on the third Saturday of the month. The AZ LRPRS club also hosts the annual Tactical Precision Rifle Challenge match that attracts top shooters from all over the nation. The cost of the practice sessions is free and the cost of the monthly match is free for the new competitor, on their first visit, $10 for Phoenix Rod and Gun club members and $15 for non members.
